Michigan Watch Parties in Denver If Michigan is playing football, we'll be watching the game at Lodos in Downtown Denver (1946 Market St.). This year we have hired a full time DJ to play Michigan music during breaks throughout the game. Lodo's has also helped to design new T-shirts and mugs that are available to purchase for $10.00. This mug will be approx. 24 ounces which will allow you to purchase beer for the 16 oz price during game time. Michigan Watch Parties in Fort Collins If you're interested in watching the games in Fort Collins, contact snlatham@gmail.com for more information. Big Ten Flag Football Tournament
We'll be practicing Wednesday evenings at 5:30 in Washington Park, in preparation for the tournament on Sunday, November 2nd, 8am - 1pm. Practices meet just SE of Exposition & Downing. If you're interested in playing, contact eric.rosel@ubs.com. Big Ten Networking Happy Hour The next happy hour will be at The Purple Martini in the Tabor Center - Lawrence & 16th St. in Denver - from 5:30 to 7 PM, on October 29th. There is no cover charge. The board for the Big Ten Networking Group would like to explore the idea of having company sponsorship for our luncheons ($1000) and happy hours ($500). We are gauging interest in becoming a sponsor for one of our monthly events. The actual $ amount of sponsorship is subject to change. We are simply trying to gauge interest. The reason for sponsorship would be to: 1.) Increase exposure of your company or brand to an educated, elite audience of Big 10 graduates or 2.) For the solicitation of new employees (Similar objective as a job fair). We would also consider multiple companies sponsoring one event for the purpose of a job fair to help increase the size of potential job applicants. Initially we would like to limit sponsorship to companies that have active alumni members within our organization. As a sponsor, your company information would be sent out via our email network to all Big Ten alumni associations in the Denver & Colo. Springs area as well as be posted on the Evite site we establish for the event. In addition, you will be allocated 5 minutes to briefly explain your company, as well as setup a booth at the event for people to gather more information. If you or your company would be interested in sponsorship, please email Eric Rosel (eric.rosel@ubs.com) with your company information and which type of event you would like to sponsor. We have an event the last Wednesday of every month which is rotated throughout the city. |
